It is New Year’s Eve and sadly we are snowed in. Oh well! Everyone had great fun running up and down the lawn and drive throwing snowballs and playing tag, none more so then the dogs however. I thought I would share a few photos of the afternoon snow.

What a funky photo (in the good way).

Thank for sharing the snow... Here we''ve got almost none. It has been raining of all things and there are floods all over the place. Blah-winter

Thanks for sharing the photos. I live in Tampa, and today it was in the mid-70''s and sunny, but sometimes at this time of the year, it seems odd that it''s so warm. Thanks for the memories!

The snow is all fluffy and white, but will proably be slushy in the mornig, I am sorry no one else is getting to play outside.

I meant to post this in the Diamoned Hangout...this is what I get for having too many windows open.

That is so pretty. And it looks like a Christmas card!

It is so freaking warm here in Houston. 80 !!!!

I''m glad I am spending New Year''s Eve at home in Connecticut! We have even more snow here than you do, Matatora, while my husband says that Virginia is, "sunny". I''ll take New England any day!!!

BTW, you are spiritually from the South, Matatora. I know where your family lives, but you all seem very southern to me!! You even have a red room! That is one thing I never saw before moving to Virginia...and I think those red rooms with white trim are gorgeous!!

Happy new year, kiddo!

Deb :-)

Wow...great pics! Thanks, Matadora!

I got "rained in" at my house today (Sonoma County, CA) flooding, mudslides and zillions of new pot holes on our road...but my doggies and I are safe and warm and have plenty of munchies and firewood to tide us over...

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Truer words have never been spoken.
I love red rooms, the living room (or Christmas Tree room in from Thanksgiving to NYE) is Confederate Red, and my little brothers bathroom is Rebel red but we didn’t know it since we chose from numbers rather then titles. My mother finds that quite funny.

I sent you an e-mail.

Oh Matatora, how I miss the snow at Christmas and New Year. It''s seems so proper to have cold snowy festive seasons. Your dogs look like they''re really enjoying themselves. Thanks for sharing your pics.
