Snow in Houston - woohoo !!

Okay I may just wait it out. I just turned on the weather on channel 2 and they are saying that the snow is going to cover a much wider area in the next few hours. Apparently downtown isn''t even getting the worst of it! I''m gonna go do a snow dance!

I am finally leaving my office downtown, and it is STILL snowing here!

Going on 5 hours now! It''s so pretty! I hope that you all (Luckystar

) get to enjoy it for at least a few hours!

We are headed to the Austin area, so I''m hoping that it will be pretty and snowy there as well. Everyone have a good weekend!

I went to the grocery store and when I came out it was snowing GOOD!

It''s calmed down a lot now, but still lightly snowing.

Good thing I didn''t drive all the way downtown! lol

We have had several hours of nice fat flakes. We have white roofs and it''s sticking in the yards.
What a treat. I''ve been outside off and on all day - I''m like a kid when it snows. Lots of pics!
But ya know, I turned our DISH TV on to get some holiday tunes and we have lost the satellite signal due to the snow - bummer

I didn''t know there were so many Houstonians here! I teach at a private school where school closings/early releases are fewer than public. They let us out 2 hours early, and you would have thought we gave all of the kids a million dollars. It''s great! So pretty today!
