OK, So I think its funny how we LIW''s always are looking for such subtle hints from the guys. It kinda sad how we hang on every false hope that they may be looking for a ring.
The reason I bring this up, is because of what my bf Matt said to me last night in the car after we left from dinner with his mom.
We were on the way back from dinner and I had won some tickets for this Beer festival thats coming to our area off of the radio. The tickets to go are really expensive and he really wanted to go only we really couldn''t afford to pay for the tickets to go. So he was all excited that we would be able to go, and for FREE no less. So as we were driving home I made that comment- "yeah, well be happy thats part of your anniversary present" He looked at me with a weird look and was like "Anniversary?" "yeah, It is our year and half." I said. He got this panicked look on his face. (Kinda funny, since we usually don''t celebrate our 1/2''s) I just thought that for this anniversary we would excahgnegifts since it has been a tough year. So the look was priceless. He continued to panic "Whats today? Wednesday?" (yes, it was wednesday) "I think I can go it in 2 days" I said "do what?" At this point he was looking a little...humourous.
The first thing that shot to my mind?? RING RING RING RING RING RING RING RING RING RING!!
Yes, i know I should never jump to conclusions....
So I asked him---Get what ready?? (at this point I am getting a little flustered)
"Nothing" (sheepish grin)
He knows I cannot stand to get disappointed. He said "Don''t worry i know you will love it)
"End of discussion"
Nice huh? I told him if he was spoofing me he was going to be sorry!!
So we will see.
Well at least someone is getting diamonds. I bought him a white gold, .33 tcw diamond (conac diamond) band to wear. So at least one person will have bling.
