Hi everyone,

I'm looking for a smaller stone and am wondering if this one looks decent (I attached the GIA report)?

It is a VVS1 but has a feather under clarity. Should I be nervous?

Thanks for any help!

definitely nothing to be nervous about with VVS1!

You won't be able to see it with a loupe! You wouldn't see it in VVS2 or VS1, either.

Thanks a lot for the responses. I'm a little concerned about durability and the diamond being more susceptible to "breaking" with such a feather. Is that a valid concern with a VVS1 diamond?

Thanks again!

no, no durability concerns with VVS1 feather.

Thank you!

I have a 1 ct vvs1 with a pinpoint, I've louped it to death and have never been able to find it. It will appear flawless to you! :))

VVSI means you have NOTHING to worry about in any way at all when it comes to inclusions. You won't see them, hear them, and they won't cause any issues ever. They practically do not even exist ;))

A feather is not an issue in a VS1 diamond. You could safely go down to VS1 and not see a thing as well as have zero durability issues.

Thank you again for all your replies. I know very little so all this information is greatly appreciated!
