Wedding Small wedding NYC

Hello

I am a very uninspired bride in desperate need of some venue/ reception ideas. I was hoping you could share some of your wedding details with me. I am having about 50 ~ 60 people and I don''t have a venue yet. Most horribly, I have not come to terms with what I would like. I was hoping for some inspiration. My wedding day is dooming on me and I have NOTHING!!! I would love to hear ideas from the NYC brides as well!

Hi lesco -- I''m in NYC, too. We''re having a wedding on the smaller side (about 100) and I did an extensive search of smaller NY venues. What time of year are you planning to marry? Also, what is your venue/catering budget? There are some great restaurants and small spaces available depending on these factors...

Really??? That is so encouraging! I got tired of looking because most venues wanted a min 150 people for sat pm. Very discouraging.
Well, we were hoping for August or September 2009. Our catering budget is about $100~ 125pp max. I am looking forward to your recommendations. Thank you so much!

Check out the Foundry in Long Island city. Its right over the 59th st bridge with amazing city views. The max they can sit inside is 125 so I''m sure that there minimum must be lower.
