small diamonds and quality

I''m about to order the wedding bands..we have them all picked out, and her style is the kind with diamonds all around the ring. 30 2mm .03ct diamonds to be exact.

I''ve been sending off various emails to vendors about prices and quality and have got back about the same prices. However, one person quoted me unusually low, and another was high.

I asked them specifically for SI1 or better and H color, about the cuts of the diamonds, and then I asked for a price on VS & F if they had them.

I only got a response for the VS & F from one vendor, and nobody responded about cut except one which said they were all of good quality cut.

So my question is, does anyone bother actually checking the cut of these lower carat diamonds? Can I trust them if they say they have VS & F quality small diamonds?

She really loves her engagement ring but I want this wedding band to be awesome. I was out to lunch with my grandparents the other day and I was just totally amazed at my Grandmother''s ring. You should be able to get Ideal and H&A''s if you want some of the best quality cuts...higher prices will apply, however.
