What do you guys & gals think of a round diamond with these measurements. It seems somewhat oblong, but I can''t tell anything by looking at it.

6.33-6.41

I realize its .08mm difference, but does that dramatically reduce the quality of the diamond? It''s rated a 1.3 on the HCS.

technically, yes, it's a little off.

what was its symmetry grade?

The symmetry is AGS Ideal.

then, you shouldn''t be able to tell it''s not round.

If it's an AGS Ideal I wouldn't worry...especially because this isn't a teeny stone it isn't a huge difference.

Its fine, nothing to worry about.

Also as an expert once told me, we see so many top cut diamonds with extremely tight diameters here, but in the ' real world' larger diameter variances than the example given are more commonly seen even in fine make diamonds.
