Slightly less bright patch on ASET

Hi,

After a lot of research on the forums here I think I've settled on a center for a Three Stone setting.

The stone is a Whiteflash Expert Selection (I believe it's just missed ACA because of the 57.1 table?).

However I've noticed a facet seems less bright on the ASET and I wanted to double-check that this isn't an obvious issue (and that I haven't missed other obvious issues). The focus is on brilliance and fire over carat size.

If there's anything I'm missing here I'm happy to look at a slightly smaller ACA.

The diamond is here: http://www.whiteflash.com/loose-diamonds/round-cut-loose-diamond-3059456.htm

It scores a 1.5 on the HCA Advisor.

Any advice/feedback is much appreciated.

Thanks!

Hi OP, I would ask WF about the that small green patch at 1 oclock (assuming that's what you meant about one facet being less bright on the ASET). Because it's so close to the girdle, my guess it's a polishing artifact and that's why it did not meet ACA grading. Perhaps my eyes are playing tricks on me, but I think that part of the diamond is just slightly flattened too. I think you'd be very happy with this selection and wouldn't really see anything IRL, just a beautiful, super sparkly stone. Good luck and how are you going to set it?
