I''m looking for a recommendation on a great place to ski (downhill) and stay in the Northeast in February. I''ll be in the Northeast in Mid-February (frigid cold, I know) and would like to take advantage of a four day mid-week break by getting some skiing in. I am looking at Stowe and Killington, but am open to suggestions.
Some criteria I''m considering:
-Size of resort (don''t want to get bored skiing just a few trails)
-Ski-in/Ski-out lodging (big plus, but not a necessity)
-Niceness (hope to take advantage of lower midweek rates and stay at a higher-end establishment)
-Non-ski activities (May not ski all four days if there is other stuff to do)
Any thoughts or suggestions?
