Hi Pricescopers! I''m hoping that some can chime in on whether they ordered their wedding band in the same size as their engagement ring and why or why not?

I would like to order this band as my travel band or for when it''s not appropriate to wear diamonds: 3 mm 10K White Gold Milgrain Wedding Band
I would like to wear this band as my usual wedding ring: 18K White Gold 1.9 mm Common Prong

My e-ring is a size 4.5 and it is spinny, but I think it is the right size to be able to take it on and off over my larger knuckle. I would like to be able to do the same with the James Allen Diamond Band. So I would assume that I would also order that in a 4.5.

With the plain gold band, I would be more comfortable leaving it on throughout the day and I would want it to be secure for travel purposes. For these reasons, I am considering going down to a 4.25. But I have not found a sizer for 4.25 and I''m worried that it will be too tight (4 is definitely too tight.) I plan to wear the plain band alone, but occasionally pair it with one of the bands from my wedding set.

But reading posts here, some women have said that when they wear rings together, they fit more snugly. Can anyone elaborate on this? Am I safer ordering a 4.5 and living with the looseness?

I wear a 3.5mm WB in the same size as my Ering, which is 3.5mm also. When I just have the WB on, yes, it''s slightly looser, but not too loose. They are not too snug together, except if I''m out in the heat, and then it''s just a hair. There''s no way to get them perfect all the time. I would recommend just getting the same size in both.

I will be getting my new ering in a size 3.75, and my wedding band in a 3 7/8 because its an eternity and so resizing will be limited for me, I know that a 4 for me is ok, during hot months, but I hate it when it spins because your diamond is top heavy. It sounds like your inbetween a 4.25 and 4.5... can they do something in 4 3/8? surely they can resize in between. Where ever I've gone I was able to get in between sizes. Or get a 4.5 and get a sizing bead or horseshoe sizer put in.

The wider a ring is, the tighter it feels. I would stay with your current size if you are going to a wider ring. Also, if you ever plan to stack it with other rings, I would not go to a smaller size.

I ordered some very thin stacking rings (1.8 mm) and when I wear them alone, they are fine, but when I stack all 3 together, they feel tight. Don''t go too small with the wedding band.
