Sizing beads in an eternity band?

Can you add sizing beads to a full diamond eternity band (platinum)? I see one on ebay that I like but it's a half size too large for me. Not sure whether it's worth bidding on or not. Thoughts? Thank you!

Should be possible. It is essentially just a drop of solder, wire melt.

For what it's worth, I asked my jeweler about this for two of my rings and he said the heat would dammage the stones and that it's not possible. I ended up just wearing the bands - 1 sz too big - but b/c they are eternities it really doesn't seem to matter. Good luck.

depends on the ring and the metal used for the sizing bead and the equipment used.

I guess that it would be hard to know if it could be done or not unless the jeweler looked at it.

One of my good girlfriends has sizing beads in her eternity band (platinum) and as far as I know there was no issue with it. Also, her band is three sided pave (I think that would be how to describe it).

The waiting is the hardest part I'm sure but you have a beautiful stone and I can't imagine the new ring being anything but beautiful as well!

Any idea how much longer you'll have to wait?
