Please vote and tell me what you think, and why if you'd like!! If you had the following 2 choices to put in a YG, tiffany solitaire, which would you pick??

Assuming price and all other specs were the same:

1.3 K
OR
1.5 L

Thank you!
Jessica

1.5 L! But I'm a weirdo and L & M are my favorite color in diamonds. Ls are so lovely and creamy, and look GORGEOUS in yellow gold. If you don't mind the light tint, go for it!

K. Warm enough for my tastes and I'm not sure the size would be that noticeable at that range

Good luck :))

my vote as well.

1.5 because it's going in YG anyway... A K isn't going to look much 'whiter' in YG. Sounds Yummy!

K-L isn't as big a jump as 1.3 to 1.5 so I would take the larger diamond.

I don't think K or L makes a discernible difference. It will look like a warm coloured diamond. I think 1.2 to 1.5 is visible.

I always think you should pay for visible differences.

1.5 for sure. K and L are not that far apart. I would prefer the size difference.

In a modern round, I would prefer the smaller K. If it were a cushion or an OEC or something similar, that's a different story!

If it's going in YG, I'd go with the L, so long as the size difference was noticeable and the price was right.

I would go for the 1.5ct!

Is this for a RB or an OEC OMC? If it's an antique cut I would go for the 1.5 L, I love the lower color range in an old cut and think it adds to it's personality. Have you seen these two diamonds in person? Are you color sensitive? Some people have a very low tolerance for lower colored stones, others can hardly discern a difference. I think a K would be about as far as I could go for a RB though...
