Size and Cuts of Melees

I''ve been looking through past threads, and I apologize if this question has been previously answered!

I''m planning on getting a thin pave wedding band to go with my engagement ring, which is about 2.8 mm. I would like the wedding band to be about 1.8 mm to 2 mm. Which size of a melee should I request for? How high will the bands be?

Also, my center stone is a chunky cushion. Would single cuts or full cuts work best with my e-ring?

try searching *melee diameter* and a whole bunch of threads will come up for you..

i would say you''d probably want a .02 (2 pointers) for your wedding band. the height of the ring can vary depending on the maker. that is something you need to discuss with your jeweler. I love single cuts and would probably choose them. either will look lovely with your e-ring though.

Is there one kind of setting that''s higher than the other? Will a channel setting be lower than a pave, for example? Or can the jeweler make them any height that I request?
