Singlestone Trunk Show Visit

When I saw that SS was having a trunk show at Greenwich Jewelers in NYC yesterday I resolved to do what I didn't do last year at this time (when I was picking out an engagement ring) and make the trip from Boston to meet Ari and see his beautiful rings. I'm so glad I did! It was so much fun to meet the designer, Ari sketched out his vision of how my asscher would look in a setting inspired by the emerald cut one below. I also tried on various metals and discovered that I love antiqued yellow gold! Here are a couple of shots from my visit:




In fact, I was so taken with the SS pieces that I completely forgot to ask to see the store's on sale Van Craeynest rings. Oh well. I'm hooked on SS at this point anyway.

I know at least one other poster was possibly stopping in yesterday, any other pictures out there to share?

What a beauty Huldak!! It must be so special to be able to visit Single Stone and play with their jewelry pieces.

This is a stunning design. I must say I love your current setting as well . What kind of setting is it and do you have more pics?

m-2-b I'm sorry I don't have stats on that second one. The other is 1.5 N-O-V color, I *think* it was around $11k for the ring pictured.

I think it's a 3.25 ct I VVS2 asscher!

Well you tried on the EC I've had saved to all of my "diamond rings I covet" folders!!! So is it as fabulous IRL as it appears? I love the frame setting Although it's a low color, I adore it and the YG. Do you have any more pictures?

It was pretty fabulous. The low color really works with that metal. Here's what I have.

Thank you!!!!! OMG-I'm in major lust with that ring, & your pictures are fabulous I wonder if that's the same one, I saved it over two years ago, & it hasn't sold??? Or does SS remake it every time they sell one? The version I have saved was also an N-O color.
If it is the same ring, maybe it's an acquired taste God knows I love it & would totally buy it! And $11k isn't bad, right?
Of course I would have to sell some other sparklies to come up with the funds....

I love that about SS. Some settings are massively expensive but they have a variety of rings that fit most any budget. And last year there was a sale on in-stock items around the holidays ... I think you should go for it!

ETA credit for the pictures goes to Ari. I can only take credit for the hand. I also found the perfect wedding band for this ring, although I dont have a picture of them together. But I have an older pic with another ring. I may get the band for now.
