Simple bezel or flower ring with this tiny spinel

I just got this lovely small pink spinel. Cannot decide if I want a simple bezel, e.g. Jill anish’s work on Etsy. Or put some colorful melees besides it. Please share some suggestions to help me decide!

Personally, I would be inclined to put the pretty stone in a Gypsy setting like this, and the side stones could be coloured stones:

Good question, probably bezel…so that I could stack them together. A more reddish stone may be more suitable for the flower..

I never had gypsy ring, but this looks so comfortable to wear!! I am leaning towards no melees now…
