Has anybody had any dealings with this designer/manufacturer?
My gf and I were in Nordstrom one Sunday and they were having a trunk show - it was during Nordie''s anniversary sale, so they were giving 25% off the regular retail (whatever that might be!). Anyway, she found a setting she loved and the rep agreed to make some modifications on the side stones (princess to oval) and band (channel set to pave). I told them I''d provide the Centerstone (thank you GOG) and the rep said it''d be about 6 weeks.
Its been about 3 1/2 weeks now, and Nordstrom just called to say they checked and its going to be 5 more weeks.
In addition to the disappointment, I''m wondering if SimonG can perform. Are they having money problems? I checked their website (www.SimonGJewelry.com) and they don''t have their new catalogue posted yet. Nor is their old catalogue available.
Maybe I''m paranoid (OK, I AM paranoid), but over the years, I''ve found that when somebody starts telling you it''ll be a little bit longer than what they first said, it often means they''ve been put on COD only by their suppliers and the don''t have the cash to pay for the materials they need for your order.
So, I''m just wondering if anybody out there has had any dealings with them.
