silly ques on crystal (registry)

hi girls, working on my registry and decided to add a few crystal items. Now I''m wondering what the difference between a wine glass and goblet is?? didn''t know who else to ask..

I think goblets are larger (more for water) but I could be wrong. If you drink more red or white that will give you an idea of what "shape" wine glass you want. Red wines typically need to breathe more so they are in larger glasses. I didn''t register for cystal but most sites have a registry guide which helps explain everything.

A goblet is bigger than a wine glass. Goblets are for big-bodied red wines and the smaller wines are used for more delicate white wines. Try this site link

a goblet is for cold drinks like water and iced tea. 14 ounces. wine glasses are 6-8 ounces, depending on red or white.
