Signed pieces - buying a resale piece- help please

I am considering one of their resale rings. It is being sold as signed by VCA.
One of my friends who has been in the jewelry business for a long time does not think it is made by VCA. I who am just a consumer disagree and i think it is VCA.

I have only heard good things about signed pieces.

What are others experiences with buying from signed pieces. Have they turned out to be made by the companies that have signed the piece?

Any help and experiences would be appreciated.

the internal marks are shown up close but signed pieces has been around a while and i seriously doubt they would risk the integrity of their whole business model over a single item. the ring is lovely and certainly looks like the very very high quality one would associate with VCA and it does look like their "style." I am sure or would imagine Signed Pieces would stand behind their name and if you took it to VCA for an appraisal and it was discovered not to be real would offer you a refund. Why dont you ask them>?

I am supposed to be working but as soon as i can I will call them. I wonder if they will read me the serial number if VCA will verify that part over the phone. I do not live near a VCA.

Signed Pieces seems to have a return for any reason policy for 30 days.

signed pieces is very reputable. I have not heard on story of something they sold not being authentic and I''ve been on this forum for years. they are very careful to have the items checked before selling them. They do have a wonderful return policy so you could always purchase and return if you are not satisfied.

i bought a martin flyer ring from them and it was everything they said it was. I was a radiant cut yellow diamond and it faced up a little small, but when it was taken out of the setting it was spot on.
I would trust them to provide exactly what they are saying a piece is.
