looking for some feedback as to a fair market price for a 3.39 ct round SI1, F COLOR, GIA CERT...not H&A...Meas: 9.76 - 9.87 X 5.86...Depth: 59.7% Table: 63%...Girdle: Thin to Thick, Faceted...Culet: none...Polish: Good...Symmetry: Good
Well, I don't know if this helps, but I have a 3.29 RB, SI2, H color, EGL-Israel cert, purchased in 5/03 in a major city B & M store and paid approx. $20k. So, your additional 10 points, SI1, F, with GIA should cost much more. But, I'm just a consumer with one (slightly) related purchase so hopefully the vendors will chime in with their two cents.
Also, what is the cut quality of your stone? Is it ideal (and not just one salesperson calling it ideal but actually ideal based on definition)? My stone is a premium cut and not ideal, very close but does not fall within ideal parameters for all categories of measurements. So, if yours is ideal, add that on to the figure.
Is yours a H & A? That should command more money as well (mine is not H & A).
But, if you are trying to sell a stone you already own, that is another matter. You will probably be able to recoup only about half of what its value is, unforunately.
I hope this helps!
how prominent the inclusions are, what colour they are, and the quality of the cut will influence this immensely. Price stats tells me that a stone wtih those colour and clarity stats will sell for between $10k-$12k per carat on average. That $6+k difference is quite a chunk of change. B&M pricing can bring this up as well.
