Hi guys
I have been looking at various different stones and yesterday after examining this stone (GIA 1752194
decided to place an order. It is a .70ct E color SI1 with excellent cut, excellent polish and excellent symmetry. Even has H&A laser in scripted in the girdle. I have looked at the stone through 10x microscope and didn't really notice much other than a few round bubbles scattered throughout the stone. When viewing the stone through the naked eye I was not able to see anything because the stone was jumping around with sparkles. But, I am no expert and I have read some discussions here in this forum to avoid stones with cloud as the main characteristic may be "hazy or milky". I may have totally missed out to look for the stone to be milky but really could not tell especially through my naked eye. I was also viewing other stones but this one spoke out to me very loud and the price was just right.
With all that said, should this cloud characteristic on this stone be a concern when it is less than a carat?
Thanks guys...
