Hello everyone! I looked and looked for a thread dedicated to only Jeff White Gems & jewelry & couldn’t find it. I thought it would be nice for us to have a thread dedicated to his lapidary artistry! I just received a picture & video link to a sphene he finished for me and wanted to share it. I would love to see other gems from him! So here we go!!!

This sphene should arrive to my mailbox next week. It is 7.87 x 7.87 mm & 3.56cts. His photo & then screen shots from the video he sent me!

Danbulite (next to a double-strand pearl clasp measuring nearly 20mm in diameter)




Aquamarine, about 6ct



Morganite traps for the Aquamarine for a three-store setting (not with me yet)



Imperial Topaz (not with me yet)



Not supposed to post in here, however it was cut by him, a synthetic Emerald, again, not with me yet, next to the Imperial Topaz

None of them has been set, however the Rubellite will be the first to be set.

That's it so far.

On the card in no particular order is a neon pink Sapphire round, a medium blue Sapphire in Asscher, a Tsavorite in a round or oval, a blue-green Tourmaline.

Not getting anymore CSs until I set some of the ones I already have (famous last words I know).

I guess I qualify as a fan of JW!

I just received two stones from Jeff today! They are from his last gemscoop when he had all that beautiful rough! He cut a zoisite and lilac cuprian tourmaline. They're small, but mighty!

Jeff’s stones are gorgeous! I have this yellow zircon. No idea what to do with it, so may sell it, but I won’t be upset if it doesn’t sell.

Those are gorgeous! I'm shocked that you didn't decide to set them and wear them yourself!

Grape garnet is like the new big thing on several shopping channels here. Every time they sell grape garnet rings, they wave your magazine around over and over. I have to get a screen shot next time I see that. Jaimeen Shah, who many of us have bought from at gem shows, is now on jtv, and he waves that magazine around! Now I can put an owner and cutter to that stone!! Ha!

It’s beautiful by the way, and I’m glad to see a side shot. Do you have a table shot of it in the ring?

I know right! Recently got engaged and feeling like every other ring is competing with my ER so I decided to let go of the mint garnet only because it was round. I still have the asscher zircon though! Might set it eventually if it doesn’t sell. Going to focus on non-round shape stones from now on for RHRs.

A 7.5mm Asscher cut Nigerian Zircon

A 7.5mm plum Tanzanian Spinel. I couldn’t quite capture its exact real life color..

A 7.9mm “seafoam” Namibia Tourmaline

This stone is absolutely stunning. I would not have any doubts. I am a huge zircon fan though, especually in this colour.
