Rainy day mismatched metal bling. It feels like overkill. It also feels weird to pair WG with platinum (the band is plat and from IDJ). Fun to play though!

It’s my youngest daughters 8th Birthday party here today, and i’ve chosen my 1ct Madagascar hot pink untreated sapphire. It was a gift from my husband when my eldest daughter was born & has her name & DOB engraved inside. It doesn’t get much love because I always think it looks a bit plain, but it’s very glowy in sunlight & flashes lovely cornflower blue tones.

This is my most worn RHR, the first Birthday gift my husband bought after we married. It's from Paul Spurgeon, with 3 tiny diamonds. All of Paul's diamonds are D IF, so they always tend to be on the small side, but they don't half put on a show!

Yes, I ordered one in my size but it was paler so they resized the display one for me.
It had to be that shade of purple. I was looking at spinels as well but I found this one in a local shop and it was quarter of the price I was going to pay for a custom design even for an amethyst (possibly even 1/16th at the higher end of the quotes).
Here’s what I wear on my right hand. It’s a Montana sapphire that my husband spontaneously bought for me while we were on a family vacation. We stopped in Phillipsburg after digging for sapphires at Gem Mountain. The sapphire is around a carat. It’s very comfortable for me to wear. The way my knuckles line up between my pinky and ring finger make it difficult to wear a RHR.

Lately I've been wearing my new-to-me (and slightly too big) blue zircon and diamond cluster with my original yellow gold Benchmark wedding band. It dawned on me that my wedding band is now 25 years old, so I guess it's vintage too

Had to add the band today to stop the winter spinning.
I love the colored Tiffany legacy rings - they are among my favorite rings of all time! The sapphire was my dream engagement ring once upon a time

I wanted to update my picture now that I am no longer pregnant with twins (soon one year birthday!). I always wear my solitaire. The five stone I mostly wear at home when the babies are sleeping or when going out.

Congratulations on having twins! I can’t even imagine two newborns! Happy 1st Birthday to your little ones..I miss those times when mine were babies..
