Got my first loose stone today! Beautiful pink tourmaline from Barry Bridgestock! It's just gorgeous, I'm so excited.

Now I need setting ideas! I searched for the word pink and went through about 10 pages, but I didn't see a thread devoted to pink rings entirely. So send em on in

Thanks for the responses! Oooh, that ring is lovely! I was originally going to set this in yellow gold with two medium red garnets as sides. But the stone is on the light side, so now I''m thinking of setting it by itself in white gold or platinum.

Thanks for the link virgoruby! Sigh, I don''t know how I missed that, it wasn''t even that long ago. I try to be a good little PSer : -)

I am now considering the below setting for this. I like the idea of surprise stones, and Barry actually threw in a bunch of small stones in various shades for free! Because he is just that awesome. Anyway there are two small pinky orange stones that are pretty close in color and size and I think they would look great in this setup. Thoughts?

Here is my stuff.

This is the pink sapphire that my DH gave me for my 23 birthday. I wear almost everyday which is why I went with a "plain" setting.

Here it is with my pink tourmaline bezel bracelet that used to be a necklace.
