yay Tacoris Holiday thread has had a lot if animal one in it, so I was hoping to see a few more furry friends with some nice bling

Thanks! His name is Morty (well Mortimer really but Morty for short) is a cavalier king charles spaniel. About 7 year old I think. We adopted him from an Amish family, he was a stud dog. They had him living outside . Lucky him now he's spoiled rotten now to make up for it. I may be mistaken but lknvrb4 looks like a Cav too. Sweetest dogs in the whole wide world. Hes hard to get bling shots with though, he always things I have food in my hand haha

Hes all reddish brown like that. i had started a thread about him over in hangout a few months ago because another PS'er and I wanted to talk about our cavs. No bling in that one though

Awww! Thanks! So many gorgeous pets in this thread! She's trouble sometimes (ok, frequently! ) but generally a good girl! In her defense, she usually appears naughty next to her perfectly mannered, therapy dog brother!

She turns 3 this January! We got her at 1 1/2 and she's been through two owners before us - so many people see the cute husky puppies and don't do research to learn that they are quite high maintenance in terms of training and exercise. Cute puppy hits 7/8 months (the teen years) and people drop off the puppy at a shelter.

My other husky is 6 1/2, we got him at 4 years old (he was a stray) and he just got certified as a therapy dog! Rescues are awesome!
The other one had to pose with the ring, too.

My fiance and I returned my ring to James Allen for a number of reasons. Currently we are waiting on my new ring (might be a few months due to the holiday season) which is in the design phase.

Morty is adorable!!! I can't believe how heartless the Amish are with puppy mill breeding. I grew up with a Cavalier- they absolutely "crave" human companionship. To keep him outside was just sooooo wrong!! I actually feel that way about all breeds-that none should live outside, but especially dogs that were bred to be companions. I am so glad you rescued him and are spoiling him!!!!

I'll try to get some shots of my babies with some bling,too!!

Aw, so good of you! We got him from a rescue, but not the GSD Rescue. Some of our friends got a shepherd from the DTLA GSD Rescue--They're great dogs!
