I just bought one from Dan and would love to get ideas from you all on the setting. Let me see what you have! Please tell me where you got your setting as well.

Is that an amethyst? You can also look for asscher settings which I’ve seen a setting thread on very recently, which should fit this stone.

Yes it is a 9.1mm amethyst I bought from Dan Stair. Let me see if I can search for the asscher setting thread. Just looking for ideas. Was thinking of a halo as I don't have one yet. I saw a Cellatani's peridot in a halo and it is wonderful. I love the simplicity of it.
I haven't had a chance to photograph this stone myself but I think his vendor photo is pretty accurate. It's been so overcast/rainy in Houston
