Show me your lovely, dark, and deep gems

My Blue Zircons are darker than the norm and way moodier but I love them that way. You can see the mix of green and blues and they remind me of the north sea on a blustery day.

Here is my salt & pepper kite cut from Etsy. It is an opaque red-brown, kind of a burnt sienna. But set in gold, whenever I wear something red, it looks brick red.

I just made this purchase yesterday. I’ve been eyeing it for a while and finally got a good excuse to yoink it from MasterCutGems website. I really want to make a pendant out of it. I told them I imagined like a cage setting or something and they offered to bevel and polish/soften the sharp edges the right end for free for me. I love the dark green. And the blue cap is a little extra. I was so excited to finally get it.

I screenshotted a frame of the crystal from their video. it’s about 43.8 carats in the video.

What better gem than the sky herself, courtesy of my shaky cam skills?

I’m a big fan of dark gems and have a few in my collection. This one is a Starbrite garnet from John Dyer and was a finished piece I found at my local jewelry.

I am not a big CS collector but your ring makes me want to get a John Dyer stone!

Are these dark enough? They do look darker indoors.
My ring and bracelet with deep, royal blue Burmese sapphires.

Yes they are! Not a lot of dark sapphires posted so it’s great to see your pretty stones.

Fancy deep Blue diamond - tiny (0,03 ct) but my most expensive gem price per carat.

This one is from Brazil.

Whoa drool that colored diamond. Are you going to set it?

No. I will keep it in my collection.

Very nice dark pieces, i love deep blue Sapphires.
The Zircons looks great like a African or Austraiien teal Sapphire. The grey 1.51ct Diamond looks great

It was suggested to me that I should add my rhodolite to this thread. So here she is. My phone doesn't take a great video, so I apologize for the quality. But the color is accurate. And she sparkles like crazy. It's a 3.4 carat custom precision oval Tanzanian rhodolite cut by Jeff Davies and Son.
And this is the setting I've chosen.il_794xN.7166628413_8u0z.jpg

All such beautiful pieces and great thread! Here’s one of my favorite dark CS (sapphire) rings- one is the vendor shot and the other is on me and shows the darkest it can get depending on lighting
