YES! I was a little concerned that they would be too yellow for my liking but honestly they looks sooo white! I think the Excellent Cut is a huge factor.

Here is an pic with my GIA H color engagement ring. IMG_2864.jpg

They are gorgeous and look great with your ring

I got my first pair of diamond studs in February for our 10th wedding anniversary. Of course this site was so helpful- as always! A lot of people had a good experience Yekutiel Davidov of I.D. Jewelry so I decided to as well! So glad I did! I was looking for diamond studs that I could wear every day. I tried on a couple pairs in a Macy’s store to determine size and liked the 3/4 carat for every day. I wanted sparkly and ice color and I got it at a great price. He was very easy to do business with and I love my earrings! I highly recommend him and wanted to share my earrings! Not a great picture but they are gorgeous! 662A5A76-5198-485E-97F0-416398C26095.png

So thrilled with my first pair of studs. After much deliberation and help from these forums, went with these ACAs from Whiteflash. 1.4ctw, J, VS2. Was worried I’d regret not going bigger with a less quality stone but I think these are perfect! DDCEA4D9-F79C-4339-ABC0-CB216BEF77FE.jpeg

So these are my sisters (inherited from mom) I wanted to try them on for size and they are 6 prong low basket settings.
they are 3.14 total. I think they are just a little to large for me and low on my ear. What is your opinion debbysstuds.jpg

I like how the 2.40 sit on your ear. They look great!

thank you I had DSS and sold them to purchase 3.00 which we are having a hard time finding in my price range. Glad I tried on the 3.14 to know they are way to big

I might be in the minority here as I find the 3.14 size to be nice. I think issue is the basket setting. I prefer martinis as they lay flatter and float on the ear. What size are you considering? I don’t think you should go much smaller. You won’t be happy with anything close to what you had. Go big as you can

We are searching for a decent pair 1.50 each 3.00 total and yes I'm so back and forth with the settings my ears are pierced low. The 2.40 (1.20) each sat nicely in my ears with the 3 prong martini. I want the stones to be flat on my ear the 6 prong baskets are too low. I don't know what to get is there a 4 or 6 prong martini?
The jeweler I'm working with says I will love their low basket settings but I'm not sure I would love to try on all these setting styles in 1.50 size so I can actually see how they are in my ears
suggestions please

My piercings are kind of low as well. I have 3.4 set in 3 prong martinis and they are perfect. Is there a specific reason that you want to set in 4or 6 prong martini. Here are few pics to see how they sit on the ear 34728637-9C39-4DD6-920D-3C0FAC9A46BC.jpeg F7F6A0A6-A8BE-42B1-9C5A-63BB744B961B.jpeg 63A87FBE-06C7-42DB-B35B-FC12F7EAC0C7.jpeg

No really I just thought the larger stone might rip into my piercing holes. I loved my martini settings with my 2.40 the other issue is I can't wear jackets with the martini but the 3.0 will be so big there is no more ear lobe space anyway

3 carats and above don’t need anything IMO. Let the studs shine and be the star. I find jackets a distraction and trick for more ear coverage. I love the look of a large solitaire on the ear. That’s what you will have. They will be fine with 3 carat. If you were going to 4 -5 carats might be issue
