Here is the box I had made for my fiance. It was made by Jane at Greentree Creations. She does amazing work. The box is a 3''x3'' mohogany box with silver barrel hinges. The image is a male twelve spotted skipper dragonfly that I shot while at work. My fiance loves the image. The image is set on a madrone burl background and is made from various stained wood inlays.

Gorgeous box, Schell! That is amazing that they customized it from your own picture!

i didn''t get a special box with my engagement ring, they did give us a bottle of champaign though, which is nice, but i don''t really drink...i think i would rather have a box...

my erd ring came in a regular ol'' black velvet ring box, nothing special. For my whiteflash wedding band I got the pretty wood box though.

Here''s mine from WF: lacquered mahogany. Heavy brass piano hinge at the back. White leather(ette) interior.

Best part yet though: when they saw that it had gotten ''rained on'' during my first photoshoot, they e-mailed me and offered to send me another one! WOWZA! (I didn''t take them up on their offer, preferring to leave a lovely box for the next PriceScoper who comes along the way).

I don''t have any pictures of the box closed, but here is the inside of the box my ering came in. My ering is a custom ring from a local jeweler and I think the box is really nice! Especially compared to boxes I''ve gotten other rings in. Just the plain black velvet cheapo looking boxes.
