Anyone out there have a Beverly K setting? Please show it off!

I have an AVR that needs an e-setting so that I can start wearing it.

Anyone have one like the links listed or know where I can find a real life picture?

Anyone want to go buy one, take a hand shot and post it for me? LOL. Just joking ...

I don't have one but I thought I'd keep you company since I also have an AVR that I don't know what to do with!!! I love BK settings but I also have no access to seeing them in person, which is frustrating! I love the two settings you posted! I will say, though, that I am not sure #1 is a great candidate to wear with a wedding band. I think the one with the asscher would be better, and it is a killer ring with the asscher diamond, isn't it?!

I believe Pearlmans will send out Bev K samples. I might be wrong. Worth a call to find out. Maybe GOG will since you got your diamond from them. Both carry Bev K.

One in my avatar! :) BK stuff is gorgeous in real life, the milgrain is very delicate. Check with them to see if you have any dealers near you or check with Pearlmans on samples. Love my ring so much!

DiamondS: I am so excited that you finally got your AVR! I thought you said you were putting it in a setting you already had? Did I mis-read? Also: Do you think the Asher example will go better with a wedding band or the round example?

Six: I looked thru FB but didn't find it. I'll have to look again. I did find one similar though.

Thanx Woof: I'll try calling Greenwich tomorrow and see if they can take a RL pic or send me an example.

Web: Your ring is G-O-R-G-E-O-U-S and I hold out hope that one day someone will say that about mine too!!!

Ariel: Thanx! I have looked thru old threads and 1,000 searches. Surely someone somewhere has one of these rings.

I LOVE the milgrain on the Asher example. The cut-out on the round example looks a bit ... ummmm ... different so not sure how it would look in RL. I'm thinking a delicate milgrain band of some sort for a wedding band and would prefer not to go with a curved band. I wouldn't mind a little gap. So far I have probably changed my mind 100 times but it's a woman's prerogative, right? I have to find something or DL will start to think I'm crazy ... or don't love him ... or don't want to wear an engagement ring...

here's girlygirls. really pretty. Even managed to make her princess cut look vintage

Here's a thread of a Bev K in rose gold with an AVC: https://www.pricescope.com/community/threads/engaged-rose-gold-bevk-avc.176883/

I would request price quotes from GOG and Pearlmans on the setting. I think they would be better than what Greenwich will offer because they're PS vendors. Also GOG may not charge an additional setting fee because you purchased your diamond from them. Any of the vendors that carry Bev K can get any of the settings. The setting will be made custom for your stone so the diamond is sent thru whomever you buy the setting from to Bev K for setting. (how many times can I use the word setting in a sentence  )

Thank you! Finally is right!!! I want to be able to wear the diamond and it might take me a long time to decide on a setting, so the most cost efficient thing to do is to have a new head made for my current Vatche setting for the time being. I would say the same to you as well if you aren't sure. I would want to be wearing the diamond and it would be worth buying an inexpensive solitaire just to be able to take more time to find the perfect setting. I wish I could decide quickly but I know I need to at least go look at Tacori settings just to get an idea of the general styles I like on my hand.

Of those two, I like the asscher setting the best. I think it will work better with a straight wedding band than the other one. I would also just get a thin pave milgrain wedding band to go with that one.

Regarding pricing, I am pretty sure Pearlman's does 20% off for PS members. GOG usually will price match. I'd probably get the setting from GOG since you bought the stone from them and they'd likely cover the stone while being set. I do think the diamond would be sent to BK to be set but I would verify that.

Plummie: I lovethe leaf detail just under the diamond and the milgrain on is drool-worthy!

Girly's ring is very pretty too.

Thanks Woof and Diamond. I would definitely want to work with GOG but I'm scared to order something I haven't seen in person. DL and I will be going to NY in June so maybe I can find something there.

Hi!!

I too am interested in a beverly K setting, and I saw some at a jeweler in Ventura, CA. This jeweler even modified a Beverly K band to have it set with a solitaire. It was pretty stunning.

I'm looking for a thicker vintage style band, that would allow a center stone to be set. I will ask for some pictures from the jeweler.

Here are the ones I saw on line. In real life, they are even more stunning.

In my opinion, the thing to keep in mind when looking at these settings is to compare the diameter of your stone to the thickness of the band. The proportion of the stone to the band makes a big difference as to how the ring looks as a whole.

And this is a band I love that I would love to have a solitaire set. I saw one the jeweler did, and it was amazing.

Good luck!!
