BTW, I would looove to pair my e-ring with either of these Single Stone rings! Don''t know if I want to use them for a w-ring or just a stacking ring in between a plain flat gold band.

Disco T: I absolutely LOVE the YG band!

It''s so unique! Where did you get it??

Mine is old fashioned as compared to today''s styles but I still like it.

msee, I love your e-ring and your wedding band. They look perfect together!

Msee- I haven''t bought the YG bands yet, but you can find them on the Single Stone website. Just type it in Google. I am going to call them up soon. I''m still trying to decide what I want for my w-ring, so they are options as of now. I''ve gone from matchy-matchy to not matchy to those. I think one of those bands will go with my e-ring pretty nicely without being too matchy. I''m thinking of just going with a plain YG flat band as my w-ring and then one of those bands as a stacker in between.

SanDiegoLady- Yes, the left one is really dainty and elegant. I''ve actually tried it on at a local store, but they were selling it for $2000+. It looked perfect w/ my e-ring too!

So hopefully, I can find one for cheaper somewhere else. $2000+ is way over my budget for a w-ring or stacker.

Here are my rings: .52 princess in a Quadrillion setting, plus a 2mm pipe cut band.

I adore YG, and will never wear anything else.

Threads such as this give me hope that perhaps I''m not the only YG fan left on this planet! WG really seems to hold the popular vote right now!!

Msee, I''m surprised that you said the where you live, your set is quite popular??

Lucky girls where you live then!! Do you have a popular local jeweller, as I find your set quite unique...and gorgeous!

I was also surprised to see that it was an I colour, it looks so clean and lovely

aaah, thanks for this thread, girls, its great!

Thanks, LaraOnline, glad you like it!

I live in Singapore...and my setting is quite common here. But still, I love how my set turned out...and how the wband makes it a little different from the others!

BTW I would love to see pictures of your ring if you have some!

haha you''re a doll
okay, I guess I could post...but I''m a little embarrassed, as the setting and diamond is quite poor!
I found this site as I am hankering for an upgrade, but I live in rural Australia, so I guess my immediate chances are a bit shaky. Still, when the time comes...!
I guess for the sake of joining in, I should post nonetheless... I promise I will do so!

Here''s my 18kt yellow gold engagement ring! I''m in England and think YG is perhaps more popular here than in the US... but I love it. :)

I was droooooling yesterday at all the 22ct gold Indian jewellery in Leicester. My sister''s having an Indian-themed wedding (just for fun) and I had to go & buy a sari (highly recommended - I had a ball!).. and just couldn''t resist looking in all the jewellery shops. I love that deep, rich yellow colour of such pure gold. Yum.

Hi Cleo! Your rock looks to be a very elegant size! Just perfect!

Hey DiscoT, love your ring, is it an asscher cut and if it is, I think it is the bomb in yg, compared to all the ones that are set in wg, or Plat the yg enhances the stone.
Cleo, love your ring too, what is the size of the stone and the mm of your shank.
Hope to see more yg jewelry, been checking everyday and am really enjoying everyone who is posting.

buffy01- Yes! It is an asscher, and I love it in YG too! Thanks!

I was hesitant about getting it in YG at first, but I trusted my FI (who likes the more traditional YG look). Not very many ppl around my age have YG these days. The contrast really does make the diamond pop!

DiscoT, I looooove that band on the left (french cut and baguette?). It looks so pretty in the yg.

Sera- Thanks! I like the left one the best too.

Hi everyone,
I''ve been meaning to post here since this thread started, but am only getting around to it now.
Here is my 18K yellow gold diamond ring. It''s so comfy to wear (even though it''s wide) - I just love it!!

I also like to wear my set this way too.

Thankyou Lara and Buffy - that''s really sweet of you! :)

DiscoT - I adore your Asscher... it''s beautiful!

Buffy, my diamond is a 1.001ct RB and the band is about 3mm wide. It''s a little wider than the PS ladies usually like - but I found in England a lot of the cheaper jewellery (CZs etc) are set in quite thin YG settings. I felt the sturdier setting would make it look less like a piece of costume jewellery - especially when a 1ct diamond is considered quite unusual ( and big!) in England.

I''m still planning an upgrade to 2cts one day though... :)

Hi Cleo, my solitaire is a 1.52 rb, and is on a 3.5mm euro shank and I feel that the wider band makes the diamond pop!! Like yours, the wider band does absolutely enhance your diamond. I will be waiting for the day you send pics of your new 2ct solitaire, and hope that you get it. !!!!!!!

Cleo- Thank you! Your RB is beautiful too! I meant to comment earlier, but I had finals for the past 2 weeks! Finally done! I am so enamored with the yellow gold look. I think it looks especially great as a solitaire. Scarlett Johansson''s new e-ring floored me! I love the twisted shank!

Yay for yellow gold!
