Not sure stereotype is the right word...but here is what I am looking for:
For me - looking at a RB, when I see arrows I think - oooh, nice! The arrows are sort of the barometer for how well the stone is cut (for me - sort of a quick way to judge).
I have no clue though, when you look at a cushion cut diamond - what shapes/patterns do you look for to know if it is well cut?
What about pears? When I see a pear, it just looks like a bunch of angles/cuts I can''t tell what I''m looking at...
So, if you''ve got a picture face up of the equivalent of RB "arrows" for cushions or pears - please show ''em!
