Oof!

And really...what good would an apology be to women whose names you probably don''t even remember? How would Woods address them during this hypothetical apology? "I''m sorry girl-I-had-relations-with..."???

It might take a while to address them all individually...

No. It''s no secret that he was married, they knew and they didn''t care. They were willing participants in breaking up a family, they should be ashamed of themselves, not trolling for media coverage. IMO, they don''t deserve an apology at all.

"Sorry you aren''t the only hooker I was nailing..."

Yup!

No
Unless they lived in a cave and didn''t know he was
married with children.

Tiger should apologize to ME for letting his personal drama end up all over CNN.

Who knows what lines he was feeding this women. He could have been telling them he was separated or living separately from his wife and children. Maybe he was saying whatever he could to get what he wanted.

At the risk of being shouted down, these women have feelings too and if he misled them he should apologise.

No. I''m from a culture where having a mistress is pretty common, but still, only the wife is due that respect. I don''t really care about the fact that he had affairs, but he should have only apologized to his wife, as he did, and the mistresses need to know their place.

I understand that these women have feelings too, and we have no idea what was said behind closed doors. But honestly, there''s a better way to demonstrate those feelings than going on national TV and airing your dirty laundry. I find it really hard to believe that these women are the victims in this whole mess. They knew who Tiger Woods was and they knew what they wanted. I can''t imagine apologizing to women (14??) who had a hand in breaking up a family and possibly tearing apart a marriage. I thought it was ridiculous when one of Tiger''s mistresses was so upset that he didn''t apologize to her directly (or the other women) during his press conference. Are you kidding?

And don''t forget CNN. THEY should apologize to all of us for making the "news" more trivial and worthless by the minute. Twenty four hour news was truly the death knell of genuine reporting on anything of consequence in this country.

A press conference for cryin'' out loud? The world is going in the toilet and news outlets deem it newsworthy enough to report this crap?? I guess people look for any distraction from having to pay attention to their own lives.

And no, I didn''t watch it.

The place for reporting on all this trash is TMZ. We all know where they are on the web and we can find it quite easily. Unfortunately, its popular so all the networks choose to report on celebrities instead of real news. I''m sure its also easier then having to do research for real stories. But its WRONG.

no...they knew he was married...why do THEY deserve an apology? boo hooo he cheated on them with other sleazy girls...come on... they just want their name out there.

One of the local fox stations here in Houston has a segment FOR TMZ during the news. It is so bizarre. One second they are talking about the local elections or the robbery on 5th street, the next second they are talking to Harvey (tmz) via satellite for the latest celebrity news. It's so dumb. When celebrity culture has invaded the local news you know there's a problem!

We - - us - - society at large - - should not have expected Tiger to apologize publicly at all. We have no stake in his problems, no issues with him on a personal level. His mea culpas should be directed at his family, and he has no reason to include you and I in that process.

I don''t know how many hours CNN devoted to his apology, but I thought it par-for-the-course (heck, yes, it''s a pun) that we have the media questioning why Tiger didn''t provide details and specifics. As if we needed to know more.

He''s just another celebrity blinded by his own aura. Perhaps he''s had his ''wake-up call'' - - or not. But it''s his life, and he can choose to live it however he wants. He doesn''t owe me any explanation, and I don''t owe him the time of day.

And, to answer the OP''s question . . . no. If you are a one-night-stand, or a regular booty-call bimbo, or a kept mistress, you know what you are. And you don''t deserve an apology.

The "apology" had nothing to do with making amends to those he hurt, it was strictly about PR and his sponsors. You make amends and apologize in private. You do not set up a press conference that actually prempts TV programming as though you were a head of state. What the hell is he apologizing to the public for? Did his catting around hurt us? I think not.

He did owe an apology to women he lied to IMO. Public or private, I don''t care.
If (and I strongly suspect he DID) you tell someone a lie, then you should apologize. Yes, the bimbos should have recognized he was a liar. Still, the shame is more on the liar than the lied to.

IMO he is still continuing to lie. He did not receive those injuries from a simple fender bender. What-ev

DITTO!!!!!

And no, the only apology they should be involved with is apologizing to his wife.

I have mixed feelings.
On one hand any further communication from Tiger to these woman is an additional slap in the face to his wife.
She is 1000 times more the harmed party here than the other women.

That said, he did harm these other women.
But didn't they harmed him too?
It takes two to tango so mutual apologies may be in order.

If you looked at it in terms of money this whole mess lowered his net worth but probably raises the net worth of those other women because we live in such a stupid sleaze and gossip driven media world now.

I think he should apolodize to his wife times and again, also for ruining the car. (Sorry - had to LOL).
If all celebrities start apologizing to all the women they slept with...oh. Clinton, Edwards, Kobe Bryant who else? I want to limit use of paper space and useless TV time. Or maybe one should make a big heading "I apologize to all the women I ever slept with" and then post a list of names, in very small font to save paper space.

no And let me say I hope this puts the breaks on All Tiger All the Time on the TV news shows. ENOUGH ALREADY.

Should Tiger have apologized to the other women too?

Hahahahahahahahahaha! Sure. Probably slipped each one some cash in an envelope. As an apology, of course.

Those skanks knew he was a married man, yet they chose to sleep with him anyway. JMHO, but skanks like that don''t deserve an apology. I don''t care if he told them he loved them and was leaving his wife for them, they still cheated with a married man

Those women deserve no apology.

I don''t think so.

Nope. They knew very well what they were getting into.
