So firstly as much as I love you guys I really didn't want to come here and bug you all with another post, BUT Im truly stuck. :wall:

I am getting Victor to make the plain shank Gabriella setting for my 3.2ct stone, however I have been crazy as to what eternity band to pair up with it from time to time, depending on my activities for the day.

I have decided not to go with the shared prong 5 pointers, as I tried on 4's and didn't like it. I may go with the 8 pointers down the track though. This lead me to the other option of a pave eternity band from Victor BUT then I started thinking of different pave options from him and settled on the Braided pave eternity, he has done this previously as a ring. I thought all was good until my partner said the extra expense for the braided will be deducted from next years project. This means I will need to wait a tad longer to accumulate funds or take several thousand off my budget.

So my question to you guys is what do you think would be best paired with my solitaire, to give it a little bling/shimmer but not outshine my ring. This is the set that is most important to me though.
Go with 2.2mm pave eternity band
or the braided pave eternity band

I would love to hear what you all think and thanks again :D

You certainly have plenty of options with the e-ring setting you chose! I think if you really want a band with 8 pointers, I wouldn't spend much on a band now. I'd probably just do a plain band that could be used as a spacer once you get the band with 8 pointers. If this is going to be your forever band, then get what you really want. I'd probably go a little wider than 2.2mm, personally, because my Legacy band is around that width and I wish it were a little wider with slightly larger diamonds. So that would be my only input about a straight band. I think I prefer straight to braided.

Thank you for your opinions DS much appreciated

I honestly think at this time I should just concentrate on my new solitaire setting before worrying to much about an eternity band. Besides it probably wont be worn most times anyway. When it comes down to the two styles I like Im still a little unsure as the pave band is a tad to thin whilst I think the 8 pointers are a tad to much. I don't like the plain band or other styles to much and honestly its not really a must as Im not married, nor will we marry, being 21 years shortly so Im not much interested.
I just want a bit of bling now and then to ramp it up a little I suppose. But for now I still unsure and definitely don't want to make the mistake again of spending a fair bit of money not to like it on my finger and with my solitaire.

I think it would be good if you provided links to what you are looking at. It would help everyone.

I think a braided band with your big fat solitaire would distract from the solitaire. I would stick with the skinniest thinnest pave band you could find. My two cents and what I would do if I reset mine to a solitaire.
