Should I get an appraisal for wedding bands?

Hi all,

Been a while since I''ve been on. My fiancée and I just got our wedding bands in and I''d like to get them insured ASAP. Problem is they didn''t come with an appraisal...

Should I cough up the dough and get an independent appraisal for them or is it ok to just get them insured by the price on the receipt?

I''d say yes. I have always had appraisals done on my full sets (ER and WB), with separate appraisals for each piece.
