Should I Buy This Stone (Brian Gavin Blue)?

I am looking to purchase an engagement ring (for the first time) and have come across this stone:

They have said it is eye clean, but I was wondering what others here (who know alot more than I do) think? Seems like a good deal to me if it really is eye clean.

I am trying to stay around $9k for the stone and if anyone has other ideas (tyring to max size and sparkle for my budget as long as its eye clean), I'm all ears.

Beautiful diamond. It does look eye clean, and looking at comparable diamonds, it's prices right.

Thanks for the reply. Im just trying to make sure I am not missing anything. I have been lurking here for awhile trying to learn as much as possible and want to make sure I wont be disappointed when I finally decide to pull the trigger and buy something.

I know since that is my stone that I returned - it is a gorgeous stone and sparkles like mad. I returned it because I decided I wanted a higher color than J, but if you're not as color sensitive, it still faces up white and completely eye clean. For the carat weight it's a great deal since it's just below 1.5 ct where there's a pretty big price jump. It was tough for me to say goodbye :**(

Yay! I'm glad it's going to someone nice I still feel sentimental about it because I was sooooo close to going with it as my final selection. I don't think you can get any better for your budget really, it's a great deal.
