Should i buy this ring?

This is a ring I was contemplating buying for a year now....should i get it?
What do you think of it on the finger? (diamond and saphire) I would wear it in place of my wedding set, but not sure how often...

I have a very similar ring that I seldom wear. My sapphire is too dark so that is probably part of the reason! A blue sapphire really is the only colored stone I have a strong desire to have, though. But I would probably wear a ring like that on my right hand and wear a 5 stone or eternity as an alternate e-ring.

In any event, if the ring is exactly what you want in terms of stone color and quality, then go for it if the price is right!

Well, it's about $3k. I think the diamonds are near colorless and the saph. is about 1.2? oval...about 1.3ct in diamonds,
i could upgrade the sapphre but then it would be like $700 more

That's a lot of money IMO, and the sapphire looks really dark. But you love it and the pic isn't the best so in real life it could be really lovely.

I know and it's even more $ with tax. The sapphire is dark and looks lighter in certain lighting (bright lights).
Was contemplating new setting, but everyone thinks I should keep ant ring in orignl. setg. I also like cushions and
would want one one day (?) so would use this $ to put towards that one day. how much is 2.5-3ct cushion - d e color?

The ring looks so pretty and sparkly on. When i saw it a year ago, the girl behind me was trying on $30,000 diamonds and I remember thinking, this is even prettier than any of those! It's mesmerizing in person. Wonder how it would perform w/o those jeweler lights though...
