Should I buy this Diamond

Hi All,

I am a complete novice when it comes to buying a diamond, I have spent some time on this board but this is the first time I am posting.

I need some opinion on this diamond, should I buy this. Are there better ones for the same price.

My main concern is that when I was looking through the loupe on the website I found some inclusions( dark scratches) in the center, I have attached the image. Does the image really reflect the real diamond, is that a reason to be concerned.

What kind of questions do I need to ask the Jeweler to get more relevant info and will they oblige.

Can someone please look at the Idealscope images provided on the website and comment.

The loupe image is designed to give an idea of the location of the inclusions but not really to judge whether a diamond is eyeclean or not, I would be very surprised if those inclusions can be seen with the naked eye but do check with the vendor to make sure, also ask if it is eyeclean from all angles and distances to be on the safe side. The images look good, but one of the hearts looks to be a little uneven, but it looks like a good diamond. To put the inclusions and actual size of the diamond into perspective a bit, the stone will be smaller than a pencil eraser, these magnified images can be a bit misleading!

IS image looks good, Hearts slightly off but may be due to image set up.

Should not have anything to worry about with a VS2, should not be visible. Just ask JA if it is eye-clean if you are still concern.

Thank you very much for the feedback, I am trying to find out from James Allen if it is eye clean from all angles. They said I may have to submit a request and will get the info in 24 hours.

Got the reply back from James Allen related to the request I made about the eye cleanliness from all angles.

"This diamond is a VS2 and will be completely eye-clean from all angles. The lab report does mention the existence of additional clouds, however they are not shown because they are to minor to be plotted. They will in no way impact the diamond and cannot be found without high powered magnification.
This is definitely a beautifully brilliant diamond that is very visually pleasing."

So should I go ahead and order it. Is 2200 reasonable for the diamond.

That sounds fine. One of the hearts on the hearts image is a little off but if that doesn''t worry you then thats ok, if it does then ask them to retake the image then we can see if it is a result of the image or whether the heart is off.
