I''m contemplating buying an idealscope or an ASET scope. It would be for casual use... to help friends pick stones, to have something to take with me if I ever go to a 3d store... etc.
Should I get both? Is it worth it to get either? What are the main differences between the beginner and expert models?
How realistic is it to be able to take photos with a camera that has a good macro lens with these hand held scopes?
Any suggestions on where to buy (inexpensive) basic jewelers equipment like loupes, tweezers, etc.
Ideal-scope.com seems to have (no offense) cheesy looking overpriced basic tools.
Again, this is for casual use, in the near future I will certainly be helping a friend buy a pear shaped stone so I''m leaning more towards getting an ASET scope...
Thanks
