should a ring be stamped with the metal type????

Hello everyone,
I recently bought an diamond ring from bluenile, the diamond is brillant and sparkle a lot, but one thing bothers me which there is no metal type stamped inside the band.
my setting is platinum,anyone worked with BN before? should a PT950 or Platinmum be stamped inside ring?

Yes, it should be. They have excellent customer service, call them and talk to them about it.

I talked to them and they said it was normal, I can send it back for stamping if I still feel uncomfortable.
I am not sure if it worths to spend another week to re-do it. if it's fine without a metal type stampe, I would like leave it alone.
