I looked at a few eternity bands of 5 pointer RBs and they didn''t sparkle at all. These were H VSI stones. I hope mine will not be that way. Are 5 pointers not capable of lighting up with fire and brilliance?
The lack of sparkle from the diamonds is most likely due to poor cut (unless the ring was terribly dirty and needed to be cleaned or the stones had clarity issues which shouldn''t be your case since the stones were VS1).
Bright, overhead, spot lights, such as fond in many jewelry stores, make for a lot more sparkle than fluorescent lighting or less bright lighting. The environment where you examine these stones will have a large impact on appearance. If metal covers a large portion of the diamond, the sparkle might be reduced, too.
