Shopping Spree

Sorry for not being around much since Andrey announced that I was the Millionth poster, but we''ve had internet problems, my mom had cataract surgery, and there are some personal things going on with my cousin Stewart. I''d really appreciate it if you could keep Stewart in your prayers. He really needs them at this time. Thank you so much.

Now, to get on to the shopping experience.

When Andrey emailed me saying I was the one millionth post and won $1000 "bling money", I was stunned. The first thing I thought of was Christmas shopping. Also, my DIL and David''s bday''s are both a few days before Christmas. Then, David''s son is getting married in May, and his FI could use some wedding jewelry. So much the money could be used for. There was also something I''ve wanted for a few years, and emailed some vendors for estimates. All of them were for more than I could justify spending on myself at this time, so I decided that my original plan to get some gifts was the best.

I started looking through all of the vendors, and got a few ideas, but didn''t know what the girls would want. So I called DD, DIL and FDIL to find out if there was anything in particular they would like. None of them were any help. "Whatever you decide will be great", "I''d be happy with anything" and "Something small and simple I could wear everyday" were the comments I got. No help what so ever. So, I looked and looked and looked some more. Then, I finally decided on the 1st thing to get. YEAH!!!

A watch for David from Blue Nile. I saw some things I thought the girls would like on Andera and asked Andrey if I could use 2 vendors. He generously agreed. So, after a week of looking, I made my decisions and contacted Andrey. Before hearing a reply, I changed my mind again......several times. I must have changed my mind a few hundred times during the whole process. Everything is now ordered, so all I have to do is sit back and wait. One of the items from Angara is on back order so I won''t get that until next Wed. The order from Blue Nile will hopefully arrive tomorrow and I''ll post pictures as soon as possible

I've only posted 990 posts, counting this one. All of PS has over a million posts. I posted the millionth post. Understand?

Thanks. It was fun. I'm just glad to have things ordered so I'll quit changing my mind.
