Sholdt semi-bezel with east-west oval? Help!

So, I''ve decided on the Sholdt semi-bezel (R379-15), and I would like to use a 1.1-1.25 ct. oval set east-west. What do you think? Sholdt has said they can do this, and that it''s pretty, but they don''t have any pictures of it, and won''t provide any sketches. It''s a little scary making such a large purchase sight unseen and only using my imagination. I need your opinions... should I do it or no? Too big of a risk? I can''t decide!

Absolutely yes! I have a friend whose engagement ring was an oval set e-w in a semi-bezel setting (don''t think it was a Sholdt) and it was gorgeous! Do it and post a metric ton of pictures for us!

Did you ever get this ring made? Im doing an east to west oval with the Sholdt R379-1 semi bezel ring. Just wondering if you did how you liked it.

AWicker and joli 78 - did either of you receive your sholdts with ovals? I'd love to see them. Bezels and east/west ovals are some of my favorites. I'm eager to see these combinations turned out in your projects.
