Just got back from Mark Bunda for an independent appraisal, and I''m very happy.

He examined the diamond and thought it was an F color (it''s a G), and hesitated for a bit with a VS1 but leaned towards a VS2 (got it right). He said it''s an excellent diamond, and I guess it''s a really good "G" and a really good "VS2". So, looks like I got a great deal.

Am very happy, and can''t wait to see the GF''s reaction later tonight.

Great choice. So glad Pearlmans is carrying Sholdt now ... always been a big fan of those settings! Think the Clay Pot in Brooklyn carries Sholdt too (but would be much more expensive).
