I''ve been doing some fall shopping and purchased the dress below yesterday (in the Nile color). What kind/color of shoes would you put with it? I can''t really buy anything else right now so I''m hoping I have something in my closet that will work... I just can''t think of anything at the moment so I''m hoping your suggestions will help. Thanks!

Dress

I think any kind of peep-toe or pump in black, dark brown, or any metallic would be cute with that.

Its a darling dress!

Way cute dress! I would go with a metallic.

I''d wear gold. Second choice would be silver/copper/bronze.

I think a warmer metallic color would really jazz it up though.

definitely something in gold.

I have a dress in a similar teal/turquoise color, and I always pair it with gold shoes. The colors look awesome together.

Maybe something like this.

Ok so gold looks like the way to go. I have a pair of really strappy gold heels kind of similar to these . Do they look too formal for the dress? I should also mention that the dress wraps lots of different ways... it can be a skirt, a dress tied like the picture, or just a wrap dress. So will the shoes work with it being a wrap dress?

Those shoes have the perfect look for that dress. It does give it a formal look, but I think the material of the dress is a bit more formal anyways.

I think your current shoes would look great with the dress!

Yayyy I''m glad I can wear the gold shoes! I was also planning on wearing it for less fancy events like church and things... do you think pointy toe black heels would look nice? They are the typical BCBG ones... leather, super high heel and super pointy toe.

oobiecoo I know you''ve setteled the shoe situation, but just wanted to let you know I love that dress! The colour, the cut, the shape it''s great!!
