Shipping Tags as Escort Cards

I picked up a pack of shipping tags to use for the wedding. I think that I want to use them as escort cards. I''m having trouble thinking of a way to display them in a budget-friendly way that fits with the overall feel of our wedding. So far all I''ve come up with is removing the string, possibly tea-staining or stamping them, writing the names and table numbers on them, laying them out alphabetically on the table in rows, and placing a chocolate over the side with the hole.

Anyone have an idea that''s more inspiring?

I used tags and tied them to my favor bags for our reception--everyone loved them. I will try to post a pic as soon as one surfaces.
