Thank you all very much for helping me find the right stone and learn a lot more about diamonds.

The pictures do not do the ring justice, and I really need to look through the forums and figure out the best way to take good pictures.

I''ll post clearer pictures in the other section soon, I should have some decent ones now.

The setting is a custom design that was done (very well and inexpensively) with help from a wonderful local jeweler.
Its inspired by a few things that I''ve seen online, but I haven''t found an exact copy anywhere.
