Carat - .90-1.25
Cut - very good (possible just good)
Color - anything from D-J would work (apparently has little effect on look of diamond)
Clarity - between SI2-VS1
She thinks she prefers the square princess cut, solitaire, and the more prongs the more secure the diamond. She wants a white gold 14k band in a bezel style. She did some shopping online and found one with the following qualities - Princess Cut diamond (I notice it doesn''t say ''very good'' or ''good''), carat weight 0.91, color H, clarity SI1 with a 14k white gold band at 5.5 size. The price for this was $3,700. Is this a reasonable price for this quality of ring?
I told her that the price range is between $4,000-$5,000. Do you have any other recommendations in that price range and with those qualities or better? Also how does one go about ordering/trusting an online diamond company? I see the convenience of having a local store to go to with my questions or if the ring needs adjustments and cleanings. what do I do if I by from an online dealer?
