Is this a shared prong diamond band?
Also what is the down side of having a half or three quarter eternity diamond band other than less bling? Thanks.

It looks like it's shared prong to me. I don't see a down side of having the diamonds going 3/4 down the shank. It allows you room for re-sizing if you need to. Others may disagree.

I agree with Kaleigh, a full eternity band does not allow for re-sizing, personally I prefer a 1/2 or 3/4 to a fully eternity.

Thanks Kaleigh.

I''ve got one more week to decide what I want exactly. Decisions decisions decisions!

Are you still thinking of a halo?? Very pretty me thinks!!!!

I think Leon calls that "mushroom pave." I think all the Leon ring owners here on PS have 3/4 pave, those that have pave that is. It''s a matter of personal preference. I prefer full eternity but it is a "mind" thing for me.

I adore that ring! I periodically go to the LM site just to have a gaze.

Yes, I want the halo but I want a delicate shared prong band about 2mm-2.5mm with a matching wedding.

I like the halo rings a lot. When shopping for them though, I noticed that many (not all of course) are designed with very thin shanks. I would caution against a ring with a thin shank for a diamond setting. I wouldn''t want an $XX,000 stone to be lost, so i decided against them. The Micheal B halo was nice (and sturdy). I thought the Ritani was a little flimsy.

I''m sure Quest will take care of those details

Oh yea, I still haven''t decided if I want the diamond bezel set or prong set.

Update, Pete at Quest Jewelers told me that these are micropave.
