Shane Co, Whiteflash, and GOG loose diamonds.

The following diamonds are the ones I plan on comparing.

Shane Co - "shane classic" .598cts G SI1 AGS0 15.2crown 43.1pavillion 61.2depth 56table for $2810

White flash - ACA .603cts G VS1 AGS0 15.1crown 42.9pavillion 60.9depth 56.3table for $2394

GOG - Round H&A .64cts E VS1 ( don''t have the exact specs now, on the way) for $2784

If anyone has followed my previous post, I already bought the setting and the stone at Shane Co.

But, I have a 60 day return policy on the diamond, so I called to halt the setting and asked if I could compare the other diamonds side by side. To ensure my piece of mind and make sure I am getting the most fire and best value diamond for my money.

I have the diamonds on WF and GOG on reserve right now and plan on talking to them both come Tuesday. (darn long weekend).

Should I have the diamonds sent to me, and then bring them into Shane co to compare side by side? Or should I take all three diamonds to an appraiser, I am thinking Kathryn Kinev, and compare them with her?

An appraiser has nothing to sell and therefore will not colour your judgment of the stones you have .
