For me the first one is a little too wide, but if your SO has nice long fingers that may not be a problem. Other than that there's just something classic about #2 and I just like it better.
ETA: Ooops if there are supposed to be three then I vote for #3 the last one. I can't see anything in your second post or by downloading the attachment.
#2 for sure! The style of #1 may make your stone look smaller. I tried on a setting alot like #1 when I was looking for ering styles. I ended up with one similar to style #2, and it really makes my center stone "Pop". My center is about the size you are looking at, (2.03, GIA Ex cut H color with fl. - very white- and VG polish and symmetry), so you can kinda see from my avatar what your 2.02 will look like in setting #2. Not exactly, but close enough.
yes this is definatel the setting i will go with and with the 2.02 im going tomorrow to put it all together im soooooooo excited and by the way i LOVE your ring its so pritty and your right the diamond pops bigtime it looks super huge! : ) i cant wait for my icy ice : ) no more yellow blues.
#2, it is so timeless and classic!! I agree with the previous posters, #1 is just too busy, it might be nice to set off a smaller stone but for 2 ct, you want the center stone to sing
